BSides Canberra is a volunteer-led conference focused on practical, technical security, held at the National Convention Centre. In 2025, we had the privilege of presenting on the main stage at the end of day 1 on the question that all hackers are asking – when will a quantum computer be able to crack modern day encryption, and what should we do about it?
The talk generated lots of interest and discussion – both in the formal Q&A, and afterwards.
